Salary: $65,105 - $110,679

Please note that the upper pay range reflected in the job posting reflects possible wage rates for internal County transfers and promotions, which are calculated per County policy.  For external hires, offers are made at the base wage rate, with limited exception. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

The qualifications/requirements, knowledge/skills/abilities and physical requirements or working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years of professional or para-professional library work experience that includes 2 years in teen services
• Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising or managing staff

Substitutions for the above-listed required education and experience is a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from an American Library Association accredited program with a Professional Public Librarian certification from the Maryland State Department of Education or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire with an MLS degree and 1 year experience in teen services.
