Glow Event Shines Bright at Rockville Memorial Library
The Rockville Memorial Library once again lit up with its annual Glow Event, held as part of the Trick or Treat at the Square celebration in Montgomery County. Now in its ninth year, this popular walk-through experience has become a highlight of the Halloween season, welcoming more than 2,500 participants in just two hours.
The event is the brainchild of Nalani Devendra, a longtime Library Associate at Rockville Memorial. What began as a LATI project has grown into a cherished community tradition that brings families, teens, and children together for an afternoon of fun.
At the end of the walk-through, visitors receive glowsticks, stickers, or bookmarks, along with the library’s event calendar and resources—a bright reminder of all that the library has to offer year-round.
A heartfelt thank you to Nalani Devendra and the entire Rockville Memorial Library team for their creativity, dedication, and hard work in making this event such a glowing success year after year.
